Free-Mo S Scale

Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Zone 3 in La Crosse, WI

This module group is based on the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Zone 3 in La Crosse, WI. It will be built in at least 3 sections to incorporate as much of the area as I can. I hope to start on Phase 1 in early 2025 and have all three zones done by March, 2026. These modules will be built using Tomalco Flex Track and hand-built turnouts made using Fast Tracks jigs.

Modules

Second Street

Planning

Phase 1 of the build will focus on the area along 2nd Street and feature street running. This module will be 15 feet long in 5 foot sections. This length was chosen to make the sections manageable but also fit the desired track plan. Construction of this phase is set to begin in early 2025.

West Avenue Branch

Planning

Phase 2 will focus on the area East of Heileman Brewery crossing West Avenue. This module is slightly longer. This phase will be 20 feet long in 5 foot sections. Construction of this phase is set to begin in late 2025.

Heileman Brewery

Planning

This module represents the G. Heileman Brewery and surrounding industries in La Crosse, WI. The module set will be 24 feet long consisting of eight 4 foot modules. I had to get a little creative with the modules to get the scene to fit, turning 4 modules on the long end.
