Free-Mo S Scale

Chicago & Northern Western in La Crosse, WI

A group of single track modules built by Shane Lambert that represent the Chicago & North Western (CNW) railroad operations in La Crosse, WI around the fall of 1968. This set begins after the CNW crosses the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy (CB&Q) and the Milwaukee Road (MILW) at Grand Crossing.

Ready Mix Concrete Plant

For my first module, and a proof of concept, I am planning to build a single 8 foot module featuring the Ready Mix Concrete plant that was located between the Indian Hill District and the CNW La Crosse yard. Featuring only two #6 turnouts and a grade crossing for Lang Drive, this one should be quick and simple and allow me to demonstrate the building process.
